High pressure drain jetting is the fastest, most economical and environmentally friendly approach to keeping your drains clear of blockages and problem free! Drain Cleaning with a high pressure drain jet [otherwise known as jetting], high pressure water is forced through specialist nozzles onto the inner wall of the drain, cleaning the inside of the pipe.
Directly after dealing with a blocked drain, is the best time for drain jet cleaning, to make sure the same blockage won’t happen again. When our drainage engineers are on site they will inform you whether drain jetting is advisable or not required.
One of the biggest problems we encounter dealing with drains is the deposits of fat and grease that collect on the inside of drains. Much the same as cholesterol build up in you arteries, the diameter of drains continually reduces with Soaps, fats and grease build up, until the drain becomes blocked. In Storm Drains we get build ups of silt entering the sewer from road gullies and drains. Drain jetting is a fast, effective way of clearing this kind of build up from your drains.
With our high pressure high volume jetting units there is not much that we can’t get out of a pipe. Putting out a minimum of 3000psi and specialist nozzles for different jobs we get the job done whether its Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) or in preparation for a drain camera survey or just to unblock a Drain.
The duration of the drain jet cleaning depends on the length of drain, diameter, configuration and amount of deposit build up within the drain. The drain jetting duration won’t be more than what is necessary, and will deliver you years of problem and blockage free drains. We will need access to a water supply like an Outside tap or garden hose. Ignoring a drainage problem won’t help. If you find that drain blockages are occurring more frequently, you should consider drain jetting as a regular Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activity.
